John G. Lake – Tongues

One of the great catalysts of transformation and progress in the life of a believer is praying in other tongues. When this is done consistently it kick starts our spiritual lives! Praying in The Spirit opens up deep wells of power and revelation. Here are the six power keys-
1)Builds a deep reservoir of abiding peace (Isaiah 28:11-12)
2)Releases The Master Teacher—the word is unfolded and revelation bursts forth (John 14:26)
3)Creates an inner guard against deception (1 John 2:26-27)
4)Builds faith (Jude 20)
5)Unravels spiritual mysteries (1 Cor. 14:2)
6)Releases inner rivers of refreshing, healing, strength & glory (John 7:37-38)

Rom. 8:26-27 AMP- So too the [Holy] Spirit comes to our aid and bears us up in our weakness; for we do not know what prayer to offer nor how to offer it worthily as we ought, but the Spirit Himself goes to meet our supplication and pleads in our behalf with unspeakable yearnings and groanings too deep for utterance. And He Who searches the hearts of men knows what is in the mind of the [Holy] Spirit [what His intent is], because the Spirit intercedes and pleads [before God] in behalf of the saints according to and in harmony with God’s will. [Ps. 139:1, 2.]

“I want to talk with the utmost frankness and say to you, that tongues have been the making of my ministry. It is that peculiar communication with God when God reveals to my soul the truth I utter to you day by day in the ministry. Many times, I climb out of bed, take my pencil and pad, and jot down the beautiful things of God, the wonderful things of God that He talks out in my spirit and reveals to my heart.”
